Community Events
Gala Day
In June of each year (generally the second Saturday), the Dalgety Bay Gala is held at the Sports and Leisure Centre and Dalgety Parish Church is represented with its stall. This is a community event and day out for the whole family and we try and tell people that the Church is a lively organisation, with lots going on – particularly with young people.
The Gala Parade gathers in the Church car-park and, before it sets out, refreshments are offered by the Church for those taking part.
Christmas Card delivery service
For three weeks prior to Christmas, we offer to deliver Christmas cards within Dalgety Bay and Hillend. The service is run by volunteers and we ask for a donation (20p per card) which goes to a charity of our choice – last year we supported Frontline Fife Homelessness Services.
