The Minister: Rev Robert Watt BD
Currently, Dalgety Parish Church is vacant i.e. it has no resident minister. To cover the period of the vacancy, Mr Watt has been appointed as Interim Moderator. In practice, this means he undertakes those duties which a resident minister would be obliged to do.

The minister’s role is to be responsible for all Church activity within his parish. He exercises pastoral care and support for people in the parish (whether they are members of the Church, or not); conducts parish funerals; celebrates the sacraments – communion, baptism, marriages and conducts regular worship.

He chairs the Kirk Session and is an enabler for developing the congregation through leadership and vision.
